• Backup: to create a extra copy of a file, in case the original is lost.
• Disk: A hard or floppy disk that is used to store information that you can go back and retrieve later.
• Folder: An icon that is used to organize files and programmes.
• Indent: To create a short distance from the margin using the tab key while writing or typing.
• Maximize: to enlarge a document that fits the screen.
• Minimize: to hide the program or document temporarily on to the taskbar.
• Printer: A machine that allows you to produce information on paper.
• Recycle Bin (Trash-bin): this is where all the unwanted files (deleted files) are stored.
• Taskbar: A bar that is found either on the edge or the bottom of the screen which consists of programs that can be easily accessed.
• Virus: a unsafe program which damages files in your computer.
